Conservatory - Project 1

Part of an Arts & Crafts addition to a Michigan home, this conservatory is replete with every period feature - elaborate clapboard, small-pane windows and doors, brackets and finials, and a beautifully-shaped interior ceiling. It's an example of Marston & Langinger's finely detailed wood carving and an example of how Marston & Langinger can work with you to create a truly custom design. Size: 26' x 37'

This conservatory is divided into two areas - a dining room opening onto the terrace and a sitting area with views of the garden and surrounding landscape. We constructed it with the doors and windows opening all round with built-in shading and finished in a combination of colors from the Marstons Premium Paint Range. Size: 14’ x 28’

Built onto an attractive brick farmhouse in Greenwich, this conservatory serves as the family's living room. Pairs of windows and doors fold back to provide ventilation. Size: 13' x 21'

Our clients asked for additional rooms beautifully constructed with character. We intricately built a Gothic style dining room, studio, and conservatory with a traditional fireplace and won the local conservation design award.
