Like many of our clients, they came to us after seeing one of our home
designs, the Westchester. They liked certain aspects of the floor plan
but were leaning towards the exterior elevation of our Alcazar F design.
Knowing that homebuilding is a very visual experience, Jeff, one of
our Scholz Home Design Experts, was able to supply them with exterior
and interior photos of several existing Scholz homes to help inspire
them with more ideas for their new home.
Wants and needs, likes and dislikes, ideas and suggestions where shared
by emails and phone calls. Then our chief architect and team of
designers created a set of preliminary sketches to verify the overall
look they wanted and assure them it could be done.
Among the revisions, they preferred the first floor master suite moved to the
second floor and, after seeing some preliminary elevation sketches,
they chose to go with large stone blocks versus the brick that was
originally called for. Meticulous attention to all the details was
given throughout.
Their 12,000 sq. ft. grand home was recently featured in an area
Showcase of Homes. Impressive private and public spaces make this
gracious and stately residence a comfortable, quality home for the
proud homeowners.
