SIENA MANOR

These busy homeowners had ideas of what they wanted but leaned heavily on the knowledge and expertise of our Scholz design teams. Synergy between us has been incredible. A relationship that we value highly.

Materials from around the world are showcased in this spectacular home. Richly textured exterior walls made of rustic quarried stones from Ohio. Cut limestone was used for moldings, balustrades, columns, window trims and other details throughout. Limestone from Israel graces the first floor formal public spaces while decorative tiles from Italy are featured in the foyer.

When the homeowners first came to us, it was very important for them to have people drawn into their home. As you enter the foyer, you are captivated by the seven breathtaking groin-vaulted ceilings in the gallery hall. Detailed custom millwork throughout was sketched up by JAS, our Chief Architect, the homeowners loved it! Attention to all the details was and continues to be the focus for this grand home.

While one part of our design team was busy with the architectural working drawings, Scholz Interiors stepped in to get the homeowners started on their new living spaces. Making everything livable, comfortable and just right for the entire family. Traveling and shopping worldwide, Scholz Interiors shared ideas, made recommendations, found sources and placed orders for furnishings and accessories from antique armoires, antique Oushak rugs, and tapestries to Italian Rococo bureaus.

After working with many designers over the years, the homeowners especially liked working with Gena, Scholz Interiors Creative Director. They felt relaxed that she valued, and continues to value, their personal privacy. Plus, Gena is very good at listening to their ideas, their parameters, as well as making timely decisions to keep their project moving along.
